House pillar. 3 distinct vertical parts. The lower part is carved on four sides (“la patru dungi”). The spindle of the pillar, with cross section and different diameters, ornamented with sinuous grooves in corkscrew design. The top part is pear shaped, carved on four sides. (Oak wood). Total length 1470mm, length of ornamented part 780mm, maximum width 120mm.

Typical pillar of the Jiul de Sus area (the northern part of the Craiova Region), where it is often found, especially in the old houses.
