Potter's wheel. Made of two wooden discs connected by an axle, the upper part, or “spindle” is of iron, the lower part of wood. The foot disc is called a wheel, the upper disc a plate (“taier”).(Beech wood and iron). Height 600mm, diameter of plate 180mm, diameter of wheel 520mm.
