Oltenian carpets, because of their decorative scheme, represent the highest type of Romanian carpets: a central field, with a distinctly coloured background, is ornamented with symmetrically arranged floral designs. Several differently coloured borders, with decorative designs specifically used for borders. (Homemade woollen thread). Length 2750mm, width 1600mm.
