Head veil. Dated 1881. Oblong shape, designs at both ends; the end worn in front has a richer design, composed of a row of flowers, worked in black, beneath the name of the maker and the date when it was made: “Von Susana Schuster 1881” (in gothic letters). Underneath the row of flowers, there are groups of red stripes, followed by a wavy line worked in black and gold thread. (Cotton, designs embroidered in black silk and gold thread). Length 1460mm, width 630mm.
