Smock. Cut out from straight pieces of material, sleeves puckered at th shoulder and wrists, held by a straight cuff. High, straight collar. Geometrical designs embroidered in white, outlined with black, closely cover the collar and cuffs, the "chain-stitch", typical of this district appears on the sleeves, joining the two pieces of material, embroidered along the margins with drawn thread patterns and backstitch, which, together with the stitched puckers, are characteristic of the decorative needlework used in the Timisoara region. Length: 126 cm; Length of sleeve: 62 cm. (Homespun hemp thread, purchased cotton thread for weaving and embroidery).
