Oblong shape, one end open to receive pillow, decorative designs at the opposite end or “fundul perinei” (bottom of the pillow), Groups of stripes horizontally woven, with insertions of multi-coloured hand picked geometrical designs. (Homespun hemp threads, purchased white and coloured cotton). Length 800mm, width 450mm.
Typical of the Fagaras district, representingone of the first stages of hand picked decorative work.
