Chest used for sleeping. Side panels each formed of one piece of wood with carved curved upper edge from the high back to the seat level. Single long wide back rail, scalloped along the lower edge. Similar panel with scalloped lower edge fixed to the lower edge of the front panel. Lid is attached with two iron hinges, and has a narrow plank attached forming a lip to the chest, which can slide out as a drawer.
