Almost square cream-coloured, tabby-woven cotton textile with images of Guru Nanak and two of his followers depicted by multicoloured stencilling. The textile appears to have been recycled, as it has a blue trademark on the reverse. The decoration on the front consists of a centre panel surrounded by four borders. The three seated male figures of Guru Nanak and his followers are outlined in grey. The details are coloured in orange and green against a pink ground. The grey, red, and green borders contain foliate and/or geometric patterns. The painting has selvedges along the two shorter sides.
