pipe (narcotics & intoxicants: smoking)

Pipe. A single length of bamboo between two nodes, the node at one end having a small hole in it. There is no separate bowl, only a hole on the shaft near the other end. The surface is incompletely decorated with sets of concentric rings, the background having been burnt brown; circumferential lines separate the sets of rings. Over one area the rings have been scratched on but the background has not been burnt.
