grave good; figure (ritual & belief: representations)

Earthenware figure of man wearing a knee length tunic with an open neck and folds around the waist. Below this he wears leggings with straps under the feet. The left knee is bent and both arms are outstretched, the left is held behind the body with the hand open, the right raised with the fist clenched. The hair is represented as if tied up, secured with a band at the front of the head. There are traces of red and blue pigment. Such figures were used as burial goods.
