Bassoon, maple, brass mounts. Six brass keys, flat, round or spatulate, mounted in saddles, including F sharp and E flat. Length overall is 123.7 cm. Wide flared bell. Butt recessed at hole for right index finger, possibly by wear. Crack in butt from thumb hole to wing socket has been filled. Stamped: Goulding & Co. London (on all four joints).
