Clarinet in A, boxwood, ivory mounts, without tuning slide. In five sections. Thirteen brass keys, flat, round, mounted in turned blocks and ring, three keys in saddles. Long keys not overlapped. C sharp/G sharp key on upper section. Ebony mouthpiece without inscription is possibly original. Sounding length (length without mouthpiece) is 62.5 cm. Chipped above bell tenon. Stamped: Goulding & Co. Soho Square, London (Crown mark). On bell: Goulding & D'Almaine.
