Cor Anglais, English horn, mid-brown wood, ivory mounts. Seven brass keys, round, cupped, six mounted on pillars carried on a base plate and one in a saddle. Twin holes for third finger on an insert. In six sections, angled three times. German silver crook, not original. Bore slightly oval, hexagonal at joint. Sounding length (length overall) is 76.3 cm. Fourth joint tenon is breaking and mount cracked. Lacks two pads. Stamped: Rivet Lyon (Star mark).
