Oboe, boxwood, without mounts. Six brass keys, flat, ornately octagonal, mounted in turned rings and blocks. The keys give downward compass to C sharp, C, B, B flat and provide an octave key for left first finger. Twin holes for third and fourth fingers. No tuning holes. Bulb bell. Sounding length (overall length) is 60.5 cm. Slightly warped. Chips in rings at top and bottom of baluster. Stamped: J. Power London (star mark).
