Flute, boxwood, ivory mounts. Five silver keys (no foot keys), round, flat, forged separately from shanks, unpadded, mounted in turned blocks. Movable hardwood stopper, cork lined with adjusting screw in hardwood button. Metal lined head joint. Three cracks in socket, one pinned but not closed; ivory mount at bottom of head cracked; pivot block of B flat key partly broken away and missing. Sounding length (embouchure to foot) is 44.0 cm. Stamped: Hill, late Monzani & Co. 28 Regent Street, Piccadilly London (Crown mark and numbered 2347). Head, socket and right-hand joints marked: Monzani & Co.
