Hand horn, cor d'orchestre, yellow brass throughout. Internal tuning slide. Terminal crooking. Crooks for F, E, E flat and D. The crooks are not uniform. The F crook is unmarked. The E flat crook is marked R. The D and E crooks are marked R on German silver plates. Crooks show minor denting. Contemporary yellow brass mouthpiece. Bell has been patched in four places. Stamped: J.C. Labbaye Paris. Inscribed on bell-body: Gordon and Hanson, sole agents, 8 Soho Square, W. London; and: International Exhibition, London 1862 (with medallion). Also stamped monogram: MAR (nearly illegible). Stamped on bell garland: Raoux Fournisseur de l'Empereur Rue Serpente à Paris.
