Flute in D, cocuswood, silver plated mounts. Silver plated keys, the body keys round and flat with stuffed pads, mounted on pillars and consisting of plug-type foot keys, the usual closed keys for D-sharp, F natural (both), G-sharp, B-flat and C natural, covered holes for both third fingers and an open key with rings for left hand first and second fingers. Left and right hand sections in one piece. Metal lined head. Movable cork stopper. Sounding length (embouchure to foot) is 57.4 cm. Head joint cracked from end to end. Stamped: Siccama Patentee London (crown mark and number 1030).
