mask (dance & live theatre)

Mask of the demon king Thotsakanth, Phra Ram's adversary in the Ramakien, made of papier-mâché and painted green with gold and black painted decoration. It has two upturned fangs in the mouth and bulging eyes. The demon wears a headdress in three tiers: a multi-tiered cap of gold and mirror glass, surmounted by four green faces, with a gilt cap, again surmounted by a single demon head with a tall, spiked gilt cap. A tongue made of string protrudes from the mouth.
