Wooden constable's staff, convex ringed grip, shaft tapering outwards towards slightly rounded end. Shaft painted black with coat of arms in red and gold with legened '21st KRV 1868' a reference to the Kent Royal Volunteers.
According to accompanying old display label the staff was issued to the 21st Kent Royal Volunteers for the Fenian Riots.
