Open vessel with a disc base and handle level with the bottom of the rim. Thick, loop handle, slightly angled and round sectioned. Bulbous, conical body narrowing at the base with no neck. Wide, open mouth with flared, rolled rim. Fairly thick-walled. Bright red-orange fabric with abundant fine-medium white grit inclusions. Pale slip with possibly some very faded painted dark bands on the lower half of the body. Height 98mm (base-rim); Width 112mm (across body centre) x 115mm (across body-handle); Circumference: 360mm; Diameter of mouth: 89mm; Weight: 334g.
