Nick Wyver
Nick Wyver is a sustainability expert and Lewisham resident.
Nick first visited the Horniman for his parents' wedding as a three year old, and then joined the Horniman team for the first time as a thirteen year old on work experience, tending to the Gardens and Aquarium. The Horniman has been a big part of his life since, and Nick has joined the trustee board with a focus on sustainability, and how the Horniman can most effectively help audiences to learn about, engage with, and take part in climate action.
As Consultancy Director for SB+CO, a specialist sustainability consultancy, Nick works with some of the largest and most complex businesses in the world on how to both contribute to and plan for the transition to a low carbon future. He was previously Deloitte’s Global Sustainability Lead for the Technology, Media, and Telco sectors, and before that Head of Responsible Business for the UK Goverments' Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
Outside work, Nick is a passionate advocate for refugee rights and was until recently Deputy Chair of Young Roots, a South London based charity that supports young refugees and asylum seekers. Nick holds Master’s degrees in both International Business, and Globalisation and Development.
